By scheduling an appointment for piano services with Total Piano Care (the Company") you (the "Client") agree to the terms and conditions ("Terms" or "Terms and Conditions" or "Agreement") outlined below. These terms govern both pre-service expectations and post-service responsibilities, as well as our cancellation and payment policies.
1. Scope of Services
Total Piano Care shall provide piano-related services as agreed upon during the scheduling process via phone, text, e-mail, or our website scheduling page. These services may include, but are not limited to tuning, regulation, voicing, pitch correction, and repair services.
By scheduling or paying for an appointment, you hereby agree to these terms which apply before, during, and after services are rendered.
Policy Updates: The terms and conditions outlined in this agreement are subject to change at any time without prior notice. It is the Client’s responsibility to review the most current version of the agreement before scheduling any service(s).

a. Acknowledgment of Completion: Upon completion of the service, the Client acknowledges that they are responsible for inspecting the piano and confirming satisfaction with the work performed.
b. Liability Release: The Client releases the Company from any liability, injury, or losses — whether direct, indirect, tangible, or intangible — arising from the use of the piano after the service is completed.

d. No Warranty on Tuning Stability: The Company provides no warranty on tuning stability beyond 14 days for any piano originating with a pitch deviation greater than 5 cents sharp or flat from A440Hz.
e. Notification of Issues: If the Client discovers an issue with their piano, player system, silent system, or Piano Life Saver system after service is completed, they are responsible for notifying the Company immediately. The issue must be documented in writing via text (909) 784-KEYS (5397) or to our e-mail (TotalPianoCare [at] gmail [dot] com to ensure proper record-keeping. While phone calls are appreciated, all service concerns must be submitted in writing to be officially acknowledged and addressed.
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that emergencies happen, but last-minute cancellations disrupt our schedule and affect other clients. To ensure fairness, the following cancellation policy applies:

If issues with the piano’s sound or condition are identified after services are rendered, the Client is responsible for any additional service fees, including:

All services are final, and no refunds or credits will be issued after the service is completed.
7. Privacy and Media Restrictions:
The Client agrees that no audio recordings, video recordings (with or without audio), and/or pictures or photographs may be taken while the Company is on-site at the premises where the piano is located. Furthermore, the Client agrees that no such media may be shared, distributed, or posted to social media or any other public platform without the express written consent of Total Piano Care. Any violation of this policy may result in legal action and/or termination of future service eligibility.
8. Legal Costs and Indemnification
In the event of any dispute arising from or related to this Agreement, the Client agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and release the Company from any and all liabilities, claims, or damages. Additionally, the Client agrees to reimburse the Company for any legal expenses incurred, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees, court costs, and any other related expenses associated with enforcing this Agreement or resolving the dispute.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Riverside, California.

By scheduling an appointment and paying for services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
